Port Douglas - A place in paradise!

	The drive along the coastal Captain Cook Highway is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches and views along the way. Port Douglas is located about 70km north of Cairns right by the ocean. Although the town has seen an increase in development in recent years, it has never lost its charm. There is a wide variety of accommodation available.
	Port Douglas is the perfect starting point for any tours into the Daintree/Cape Tribulation NP. There is a wide variety of tours available, ranging from 1-Day Tours to extended tours all the way up to Cape York.

Port Douglas is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Many of the tour operators call the Marina Mirage their home. The Marina also offers great shopping and restaurants. The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef stretches about 2000km along the tropical eastcoast of Australia. It is build out of several hundreds of individual islands and reefs. It offers some of the best dive and snorkel sites in the world. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the few natural wonders of this planet.
