Daintree National Park


The Daintree National Park is located around 55km north of Port Douglas. This rainforest is one of the oldest types of rainforest on our planet.
The Daintree River is another popular destination. Here visitors can join a guided boat cruise to go croc spotting. Best time to see crocodiles is during the cooler winter months.

While most of the bigger boats stay on the main river, some of the smaller ones actually explore the more narrow creeks.
